My personality through music
I’ve always
been a weird child because when people would ask me what my favorite genera of
music is I would never be able to give them an answer. “I like all kind of
music” I would say and they never believed me. They would go through all the genera’s
asking me to name a song that I like in it. My phone on shuffle can go from
rock to classical and it wouldn’t even phase me. Throughout the years I have
started to listening to some genera’s more than others but I still get around. While
listening to music I have found a few songs that I can listen to all the time
and they describe me or I relate to them. The first song that comes from the
alternative/rock genera. Sixteen Saltines by Jack White is all about chaos in
the work and all the chaotic things that happen. With my outgoing personality
and non-sealant attitude I am all chaos. The second song on my list is Diva by Beyoncé.
This pop song describes a small part of me that only seem to come out when I
play hockey, my sassy, take nothing from no one attitude. Sticking with the pop
genera the next song is by Miley Cyrus called Do My Thang. I like to be who I am.
I don’t like people or society to tell who I am. I will do what I want and have
my crazy personality till the day I die. My country side loves the song Home
Grown by The Zac Brow Band. This song reminds me of my home every time I listen
to it. I love my family and the familiarity of home. The last song on my list
can be put into either the pop or alternative genera. It’s the song Adventure
of a Lifetime by Cold Play. The song reminds me of all the adventures I’ve
taken throughout my life. My playlist is all over the place with genera’s which
helps people see more about how crazy I am. I am not an easy person to read because
I am always changing or hiding something people don’t know about me.
I am, and
always be, a very optimistic person. I’ve always believed there is something
larger than us here and I think my playlist reflects that. Although I am
optimistic I know life is short and that “something larger” will come up faster
than you expect. My playlist shows that I am willing to go out and try everything
I can before it’s too late. I don’t want to have any regrets when I’m lying on
my death bed. I never expected to like country until I listened to it and now I
listen to it often. This shows that if you try something new and take a risk it
might just pay off in the end, and if it doesn’t then you can avoid it for the
future. Always try new things and live your life to the fullest.
