my playlist, my self

Europe’s skies
Sweatpants
Starving
Counting stars
That’s not my name

The songs on my playlist are important because I heard them at significant points in my life. Europe’s Skies By Alexander Rybak came across my Norwegian radio station while I was on the way home from my trip in Norway and Sweden. I listened to Sweatpants by Childish Gambino when I was going through a disagreement with a group of girls about my fashion. The first time I listened to Starving by Hailee Steinfeld it reminded me about falling in love with my boyfriend. The last 2 songs in my play list more describe me and my hobbies but are still super important to me. My playlist says that I am a very diverse person. I like all genera of music just like I like all kinds of adventures and experiences. When people listen to my playlist they will first be confused because I have a few uncommon songs on there and maybe they will think I am more of an alternant person. Or maybe they will assume I am a hipster because I am listening to songs that were popular and are not anymore and songs that aren’t popular yet but might be in the future. A last assumption people can make about me is that I am a preppy girl who sticks with what everyone else is doing because I have a few songs in my playlist that everyone listens to.

I think my playlist shows that I look for the bigger things in life such as adventures and life experiences. My playlist also shows that in the bigger picture of life I like to relax and take things slow and to enjoy and life’s many gifts.

  1. I like the pick of songs! I definitely have not ever heard the first three before. I'm glad you posted them. It's always good to get a variety of different music. I would agree that this playlist you have chosen makes it sounds like you are an adventurous person. Good choices and well done!

  2. I like the song you picked. I do not know them all but I really like Childish Gambino and the song sweatpants is one of my favorite songs by him. Listening to childish Gambino always puts me in a good mood and I enjoy listening to his music.
